decorated on each side with a panel enclosing a mythical beast in a garden landscape, all reserved on a powder-blue ground, the neck with two further scroll-shaped panels enclosing landscape scenes

Denman Waldo Ross Collection (1853-1935), Cambridge, MA; 26th August 1909 (accession no. 09.299).
Condition
There is a section on the rim which has been restuck, approximately 3 1/2 in. x 2 in. (8.9 x 5.1 cm), which has been broken into five pieces with associated glaze loss. There are two polished chips around the base.
