the rounded sides supported on a short tapered foot, painted to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a five-clawed dragon writhing amongst cresting blue waves, the exterior similarly decorated with nine further dragons amongst waves, all below a band of cash coins, the seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The dish is in overall good condition, with just one tiny burst bubble to the rim. Compared with the catalogue image, the glaze of the dish has more of a bluish-tinge.
