Description

  • silver-gilt, enamel, mother of pearl
  • height of tea pot 14cm, 5 1/2 in.
comprising a tea pot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug, sugar scoop, tea strainer, lemon fork and tongs, the surfaces enamelled with shaded flower scrolls on stippled grounds, mother of pearl insulators and knops, 84 standard, in Ovchinnikov wood box, the lid applied with a plaque engraved with Latin monogram RES

Condition

Excellent condition. The gilding very slightly worn in places, particularly to the scoop, strainer, fork and tongs handles. The box possibly refurbished.
