Description

plain polished surface, the central rim mount hinged on two sides to allow double opening, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, illegible scratched inventory numbers; and a jewelled gun metal cigarette case, the lid corner inset with a band of three circular-cut rubies within rose-cut diamonds, cabochon sapphire thumbpiece

Condition

The Fabergé case in excellent condition. The jewelled case lacking one diamond and one area of repaired rust along the back edge. A small area of rust to one corner and smaller flecks of rust along one exterior edge and along the hinge.
