Condition

The surface heavily pitted, worn and stained, presumably from having been exposed to weather for an extended period of time. A small loss to the nose. Red staining to the upper left of the face and lower left of the robe, possibly due to the oxidisation of ferrous inclusions. White accretions throughout, possibly salts brought out from the stone by weather. Small grey accretions throughout. Spots of paint residue throughout and paint staining to the lips. Evidence of having later been waxed. Lacking socle.
