Description

carved of Karelian birch, the chased bead and spindle rim mount with cabochon ruby thumbpiece, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard

Condition

Very good condition. The hinge very slightly askew at either end and the lid not closing tightly. The wood surface with light scratches and very gently bowed, consistent with age and handling.
