Description

  • silver-gilt, enamel, tempera, panel
  • height 7.5cm, 2 7/8 in.
formed as a six-pointed star, the beaded circular bezel set with rubies, the points cast with scrolling leaves within ropework borders on stippled grounds, containing an icon of St Angela Merici painted on metal, wood back, hinged suspension loop, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 16283, with its original velvet-lined case insert

Condition

Excellent condition. The wood back with a small loss to one corner.
