Condition
A protective second canvas has been tacked to the original. The original canvas shows signs of buckling throughout. There is craquelure throughout, which is lifting slightly in the area of the sky in the two upper corners. There are faint stretcher bar marks along the bottom edge. These is a light layer of surface dirt. Examination under UV light reveals some scattered retouching, mostly along the top edge and the sky. Held in a gold-painted wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
