Condition

There are minor surface scratches across the blue and green curtain on the right. There is a light covering of surface dirt and minor spots of dirt in places. Held in a simple wooden frame behind plexiglass. Unexamined out of frame.

Catalogue Note

This set design is most likely for the ballet Coup de bambou, by Erik Satie which takes place on a plantation in South America. The ballet was staged in the early 1940s by Boris Kniaseff's company at the Marigny Theatre in occupied Paris.
