Condition

The panel is sound. There is a layer of surface dirt, particularly along the edges. There are frame abrasions along the edges, in particular along the left edge. These have been restored. Inspection under UV light reveals retouching to the aforementioned abrasions along the left and right edges, as well as some minor scattered retouching in places. Held in its original gilt and gold painted wooden and plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
