Condition
The canvas has been lined. There is craquelure throughout and the surface is dirty. UV light reveals scattered areas of old retouching in places throughout, mostly to the sky. There is an opaque layer of discoloured varnish which prevents a more conclusive analysis. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
