Condition

There are scattered spots of foxing in places. The sheet has discoloured in line with age. There is a layer of light surface dirt. Held in a gold painted wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.

Catalogue Note

The present work on paper was executed by Viennese court painter Franz Kopallik on a visit to Russia in 1898. He was invited to the court of Tsar Nicholas II by the Austro-Hungarian ambassador, Prince Franz of Liechtenstein, later Franz I.
