Condition
Original canvas. There is a layer of light surface dirt. There is paint shrinkage and craquelure throughout, particularly in the lower half of the composition and to the figure's face. There is a fleck of paint loss above the hut in the upper left, as well as two small areas of paint loss above the woman's head. Inspection under UV does not reveal any apparent signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
