of house form, enameled translucent peach over a radiating guilloché ground, the border with an entrelac pattern relieved by flowerheads at the corners, the oval aperture with a bezel set with seed pearls, surmounted by a gilded silver bow knot, the fruitwood back with shaped gilded silver strut, struck with workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 53705

Condition

elegant and attractive, the bow knot apparently broken and restabilized with later pins, the wood panel at back with areas of loss, particularly around nail holes, with scratches to surface of enamel and gilded surface frame
