the exterior of the circular bowl enameled in translucent salmon over wavy engine-turning below a polished rim, the base inset with a 1785 coin of Catherine II, struck with workmaster's initials, 84 standard, scratched inventory number 7254, later French control mark

Condition

elegant and attractive, small area of repair on one side, only a few traces of gilding remaining on polished silver surfaces, one pinprick ding to one side of the hook handle
