the icon finely painted with extensive ornamental detail and chrysography, the borders with a figure of the Guardian Angel and St. Evgenia, the gilded silver oklad and halo with scrolling floral ornament, set with painted enamel plaques, struck with Cyrillic initials GE of an unidentified master (Postnikova-Loseva #2368), Moscow, 184?; the halo, 1832

the icon surface with losses from the back of the oklad and nails, with loss of paint and gesso along lower border and on the lower right corner, and some restoration, the gilded silver oklad with minor splits edges and corners of oklad consistent with age and use
