the gilded silver oklad and parcel gilt robes stamped, chased, and repoussé,  struck with Cyrillic initials NG of an unrecorded master, Moscow, 1908-1917, 84 standard, the enameled halo apparently lacking maker's marks, Moscow, 1908-1917, 84 standard, contained in a carved wood kiot with gilt wood frame applied with a carved, gilded, and painted figure of the Holy Spirit as dove

Condition

cover was not removed to examine icon surface, the riza in overall good condition with some small bending and splitting to corners, the halo with areas of cracking to enamel visible under magnification; the gilt wood and painted frame with rubbing to gilding, the rays of light apparently repainted, the carved wood kiot with scuffs and wear to underside
