Condition

the icon with only underpainting except for the hands and faces, the surface with numerous nail holes from the riza, robes, and halo; the painted areas darkened, the oklad with card along the bottom border and an additional 1 inch wide panel at left to improve the fit of the cover; the cover and robes with some wear consistent with age, the enameled halo with slight bending to the upper row of the ornament and some small cracking of enamel visible under magnification
