centered with the crowned cross from the Chain of the Order of St Andrew in a shaped reserve on a cobalt blue ground, the interior with badges of the Orders of St. George, St. Vladimir, St. Stanislas, St. Alexander Nevsky, St. Anna, and the White Eagle on a pale yellow ground, the border and handles molded with a gilded chain of stylized anthemia, on four gilt claw feet, with blue Imperial cipher of Nicholas I

Acquired by the current owner's grandfather, an American businessman working in the Soviet Union in the 1920s.

Condition

overall very good condition, only the slightest rubbing to the gilding, a few small inherent faults to glaze
