Condition

Overall measurements; 139cm across the top, 140cm across the bottom, 198cm. along the right, 195cm along the left. Pile even closely sheared 1-2mm overall. With some areas just down to knotheads, for example in the centre. Some slight discolouration for example top left corner and lower left corner within main field. Top end with losses to end guard, lower end complete and with similar fringing and not overlocked. A small repaired angled split lower right corner and tip of outer guard repaired. Original sidecords. Vestiges of old tape glue on reverse of sides. Dense robust handle, unusual overall design with rare ivory ground with overall design.
