Condition
Overall measurements: 171cm across the top, 163cm across the bottom, 266cm along left side, 270cm along right side
Pile even, closely sheared 2-3mm overall, lustrous and very soft wool, with handkerchief-like handle (due in part to the silk wefting), some very slight oxidisation to the walnut brown in the central medallion and light blue in the top right hand corner; a handful of really minute repairs in field, barely visible; original two tone side cords and end braiding, knotted warp fringes with some losses to fringe 'tails'; a very high quality rug which is overall in lovely condition
