Condition

Overall measurements: 118cm across the top, 128cm across the bottom, 264cm along left side, 270cm along right side Lustrous wool, closely sheared, generally 2-3mm, with some areas of wear to knot bars, and minor fold wear, some oxidisation to browns; old scattered very small spot repiling (probably repairs to old moth damage), generally only seen on close inspection, apart from area in blue arrowheads of border on left hand side about half way down, where repair has faded; reweave approximately 18cm by 4cm to left of the third (pale blue) medallion, only visible on reverse of rug, another similarly visible on reverse to left hand side of central medallion approx. 11 by 10cm; restorations to corner tips, sidecords re-overcast, ends trimmed to edge of outer guards and overcast
