Condition

Overall measurements: 282cm across the top, 287cm across the bottom, 392cm along the left side, 387cm along the right side. Overall 2-3mm pile, with some wear down to knot-heads, ,mainly across the main field. Left half of carpet generally has lower pile. Lower pile along edges, and some old moth damage repairs. There is an evident vertical fold line up the centre of the left hand side of the main field. There is a reweave in the lower left corner. Original side cords, with some losses. Reinforced ends with herringbone tape. Teased warp fringing in corners, otherwise lacking. No fringe at all along the lower edge. Would benefit from a clean.
