The Ricky-Tick Club found fame as an influential 1960s rhythm and blues venue which started in Windsor, where the club was resident at various locations, and latterly in Hounslow, Guildford, Reading and High Wycombe.  This one-night appearance by Cream was sandwiched between their first trip to the U.S. in late March 1967 and their return in May to record Disraeli Gears at Atlantic Studios in New York City. A bootleg recording of the concert exists, which includes an early version of 'Sunshine of your Love'.
