Condition

This warm-toned print is on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface. The title and date appear to have faded but are still legible. There is an uneven rust-colored shift in tonality that appears in two bands, at the top and at the bottom of the image. Silvering is visible under raking light along the perimeter of the image. The signature is dark and bold. The bottom left margin corner has a minor bend that does not appear to break the emulsion. The reverse of the print is clean with a few scattered, minor marks, and two hinge remnants. It is believed that only 4, or possibly 5, other prints of this image have previously been offered at auction.
