Condition

This print, on double-weight Agfa paper with a glossy surface, is in generally very good condition. In raking light, a fabric-like pattern is visible, likely a result of the print dryer used after processing. The margin corners are lightly bumped. There are a few pale stains in the margin, including a very small red ink deposit and a light yellow adhesion in the bottom left corner. There are dark gray adhesive remains in the upper left margin corner. The upper and lower margin edges of the print are lightly wavy. On the reverse, there is some scattered soiling around the perimeter, a few small liquid stains, and scuffing. The following is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse: '10-212,' '291' (crossed out), 'NYUAC #1993.6.8,' '70,' and '26.' There is also a label with 'NYU LAW #8 P/K A-23 (III)' written in ink and a small circular green label with 'P/K A-23 (III)' written in ink. When viewed under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce. It is believed that only 2 other prints of this image have previously been offered at auction.
