Condition

This photograph, on heavy paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. In high raking light, a soft curvilinear scratch is visible in the upper margin, extending slightly into the image. This is very faint and does not appear to break the emulsion. On the reverse of the print, there is a small circular label with 'P/K A-145' written in an unidentified hand in ink. Also on the reverse, the numbers '103' and '6-216' are written in pencil. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce faintly. It is believed that only 4 prints of this image, including the present print, have previously been offered at auction.
