Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally very good condition. The following are visible in high raking light: some very soft, crescent-shaped handling creases, mainly in the upper left and lower right quadrants; a few scattered, tiny deposits, likely original retouching; and two very subtle, barely visible impressions. None of these appear to break the emulsion, and are only visible upon very close examination. Further, they do not detract in any way from the otherwise attractive appearance of this print. The upper and lower margins are subtly rippled. There are a few scattered deposits of indeterminate nature in the margins. The margin edges and corners are lightly bumped, with a few creases and occasional minor edge chipping. There is a small tear to the lower right edge of the margin. Upon very close inspection, numerical impressions are visible near the lower right corner. On the reverse are the following notations in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'RF.A.012.4,' '1205-I' (in duplicate), 'B 41,' 'RD,' 'B 16,' and '37' (circled).
