Condition

This early, finely detailed print with a range of gray tones, is on double-weight paper with a surface sheen. It is in generally excellent condition. Frank's signature in the margin extends slightly into the image. A sliver of the negative's sprocket holes are visible along the lower edge of the image. The margins are narrow along the left and right edges. The following are written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse of the print: '132'; '227 / 8-238 [partially crossed out]'; and 'CPK85 0234.' It is believed that only 6 prints of this image, including the present print, have previously been offered at auction.
