of cylindrical form, carved in openwork with a continuous scene depicting three boys joyfully playing in a courtyard near a fence whilst an elegantly dressed lady looks on and sits at a table nearby, the setting with tall trees issuing gnarled branches bearing dense clusters of maple leaves, the bamboo smoothly patinated
