  • bamboo (bambuseae)
of cylindrical-segment form, the convex side carved with lotus pads and a lotus blossom issuing from a stream, one lotus pad incised with veining radiating from a central stamen, the other with a meticulously picked out crab resting atop it, the bamboo with a reddish-brown patina
