of fan-shaped section, the flat top of the cover reticulated with prunus blossoms borne on gnarled thin twigs, the sides each reticulated with a rounded panel respectively enclosing sprigs of fruiting and flowering branches, including lotus blossoms and finger-citrons, the bamboo of a warm honey-brown colour

There are characteristic age cracks and surface wear, but overall in good condition.
