Catalogue Note
These are copies of the candelabra made in 1731 for Sir Robert Walpole, 1st Earl of Orford, and later in the collection of the Rt. Hon. Montagu, Lord Swaythling. They are now in the Gilbert Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum (Schroder catalogue no. 50, p. 204).
