Condition

Neither work was examined out of frame. HUNTINGTON: In fair condition; surface of sheet has faded with time; scattered minor foxing, staining; two diagonal soft creases under Washington's chin in the lower left quadrant; water staining at lower right. JOHNSON: Surface of sheet has faded with time; scattered soiling to surface: scattered spots of foxing, mostly in upper half of image.
