Condition

Pile generally near original 1/5th in. with a very badly moth damaged area near center of carpet with 4 holes and areas low to foundation—this is confined ot an area of 12 in. by 6 in. original 4 cord dark brown goats hair wrapped selvages. Original 4 in. matter red and striped flat woven kilim ends and knotted warp finishes. Dense weave. Sound fabric. Probably 1st ½ of 20th century.
