Two volumes, 8vo (6 1/2 x 4 in.; 163 x 103 mm). Text in Greek and Latin, from Henry Estienne 1566's edition, titles with woodcut printer's device, woodcut initials; contemporary manuscript annotation in Latin on vol I, copy washed. Nineteenth-century red straight-grained morocco, Duke of Devonshire's gilt arms in a gilt fillet on covers, crowned-cipher "DWS"on the spine; joints slightly rubbed.
