Folio (13 1/2 x 8 3/4 in.; 344 x 223 mm) Twenty-four leaves, illuminated manuscript on vellum, first verso illustrated with a portrait of St. James on horseback fighting the Moors, at foot a roundel of Hercules fighting the lion, floral borders, initials in gold on red grounds, countersigned on last leaf, last two pages each written in a different hand. Later vellum wrapper, reusing a manuscript leaf from a choral psalter (with the text of Psalm 83), in a modern morocco-backed folding-box. Valladolid, 22 May 1550
