4to (7 1/4 x 5 3/4 in.; 185 x 142 mm). Two parts in one, each with engraved title-pages by William Marshall, two additional full-page engravings and woodcut diagrams; very light occasional spotting to a few margins.  Contemporary blind-ruled calf; upper joint cracked, small crack to lower joint, some minor loss at foot of spine. Half-morocco case.
