4to (8 1/4 x 5 7/8 in.; 210 x 150 mm). Woodcut headpieces and decorative initials; small tear in top edge of leaf 2N1 just entering rule border. Contemporary sheep, gilt-ruled border and central panel with four cornerpieces and leafy stamps at four corners, circular thistle badge of James I stamped in center of each panel; ties gone, extremities mended.
