Title within woodcut border (McKerrow & Ferguson 198), twelve woodcut illustrations, a profusion of woodcut initials and head- and tailpieces, daub of early color to first woodcut, occasional neat marginalia; title-page cut close at fore-edge, soiled, and with several abrasions and early repairs costing tiny bits of the woodcut border, some staining and spotting throughout, *2–4 a bit short at top but seemingly not supplied. Nineteenth-century polished calf, marbled endpapers, early red edges.

Catalogue Note
Fourth edition. The colophon corrects the title-page misspelling of John Harrison's sign from "Anger" to "Anker." This edition is surprisingly scarce: this is evidently the first complete copy to appear at auction since the Arthur Houghton sale in 1980.
