Title within architectural woodcut border (McKerrow & Ferguson 297), text within ruled border with marginal column for side-notes; marginal dampstaining and foxing throughout, most pronounced in quire 2G. Contemporary brown morocco, gilt tooled to a diaper pattern with alternating azured diamonds and floriated quatrefoils, edged with small gilt tassles within a double-filleted border employing a serrated roll tool, the smooth spine similarly tooled, marbled pastedowns, edges gilt; neat repairs to spine, ties perished.
