A licence of alienation for the Manor of Skreens, near Roxwell, Essex, in favor of Sir Richard Weston (d.1572), endorsed, with pendant red wax impression of the Great Seal on a parchment tag seal, Westminster, 10 January 1554; seal worn and somewhat defective. 
[With:] an Elizabethan document, signed and sealed by Sir Frauncis Browne and Thomas Browne of Le Newarke, near Leicester, who grant land and property to Paul Smythe of Burton, Leicester, 10 November 1569.
[Also with:] Letters patent of George II for the recovery of a debt claimed by Sir Robert Smyth, Bt, and William Hervey against Robert Layton, concerning extensive lands in Norfolk, printed initial portrait and decorative borders, one parchment membrane (700 x 860 mm), endorsed, with a pendant Great Seal in green wax on a parchment tag in a metal skippet, 13 June 1744; dust staining.
