8vo (5 1/8 x 3 1/2 in.; 131 x 89 mm). Title-page printed in red and black with the burlesque arms of Cardinal Wolsey rubricated by double impression, text in black letter, woodcut initials, woodcut papal arms on i8v; side-notes of a2v shaved, outer margin of i8 cropped. Nineteenth-century brown morocco paneled in gilt and stamped in blind, the spine in six compartments lettered gilt, gilt foliated corners of turn-ins, brown endpapers, edges gilt; rebacked, one bookplate evidently removed.
