  • ink, paper, leather
 4to (7 1/4 x 5 ins.; 183 x 132 mm). Black letter, woodcut border to title (McKerrow 125) and woodcut initials; title washed, lacking final blank, lower margin of title-page restored, the same with lower margin of F5, Aa2-3  with margins restored and holes repaired, a few words of missing text supplied in a nineteenth-century hand. Modern calf to style.

Catalogue Note

First issue.  With signature [F5] in the original, uncancelled state. Scarce, as are all editions of Mirour, but particularly so without the insertion of the legend of Elianor Cobham (denoting the earlier issue).
