Granting Richard Smith licence to alienate land in Codford, Wiltshire, to John Toppe, Esquire, one parchment membrane (225 x 365 mm), endorsed, 1 March 1615, parchment tag with large pendant Great Seal in brown wax (150 mm diameter); document some soiling and damp damage, seal worn at extremities and with some loss at bottom. Housed in a folding-box.
