Title printed in red and black, dedication by Casaubon to King Henri IV of France, ten page comment on the Latin translation by Casaubon, text in Latin and Greek in double column, separate title to commentary of Aeneas Tacticus, printer's device on both titles, woodcut head- and tailpieces and initials. Contemporary calf, gilt arms of Christopher Hatton, 1st Baron Hatton of Kirby on panels, four ties (one renewed since Abbey); joints and bands rubbed, joints and spine extremities skillfully repaired.
