Title-page and text hand-ruled in red ink, publisher's device on title-page (McKerrow 368), text set in black letter; washed and pressed with residual soiling to the first two quires, first five leaves inlaid, remainder untrimmed preserving the deckle, a few neat marginal repairs, small hole on last line of L3 costing a letter or two, lacks final blank L4. Nineteeth-century speckled calf by F. Bedford, paneled gilt, spine ornately gilt, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt; expertly rebacked.
