12mo (5 x 2 3/4 in.;  128 x 70 mm). Outer fore-margin worming in sigs. B and C, H5 torn and with paper flaw, three lines of the title cropped at fore-edge, some early ink scribbling on title-page and into the preface, blank before B1 lacking. Contemporary limp deerskin; some soiling, held by one cord only. Modern quarter red morocco gilt folding-case.
