Title-page printed in red and black, engraved frontispiece portrait, 14 plates (11 double-page, one folding, 2 single-page), 30 text engravings (one one-half page, the remaining full-page), all by Wencelaus Hollar, separate title-pages for A View of the Monuments and the Appendix; errata on 3Z3; frontispiece soiled and a trifle frayed along bottom margin, title-page stained, lower right corner of double-page after p. 130 soiled and a bit frayed, occasional light browning and dampstaining, lacking blanks Q2 and 3Z4. Contemporary calf paneled in blind, plain endpapers, edges stained red; rebacked, small scrape on upper cover.
