Catalogue Note
First edition, dedication (A3–7) cancelled, as usual. Izaak Walton's copy, signed on the verso of the blank leaf facing the title-page and with his notes on pages 94, 112, 174, and 218. The note on page 218 draws attention to the "3 prayers used before his sermons." A number of other pages bear Walton's characteristic underscoring, pointers, and other reader's marks.
